Sewing Group - Men Needed!
When Life Throws You Scraps, Make A Quilt
Veni, Vidi, Velcro - I Came, I Saw, I Stuck Around

Does anyone actually sew at Sewing? This thimble-nimble group meets on Fridays at 1:30 pm. Check the Community Calendar Page to see where the next meeting will be held.
Myths About Sewing:
1. You have to sew.
Actually, very few sew. There is knitting, crocheting, spool knitting, quilting, and all manner of crafts going on. Once, someone actually brought an entire tennis court net, unrolled it across the floor of Mary Willy's living room, and proceeded to repair holes made by local wildlife! Tinker Toy and Erector Set projects are also welcome.
There is no gossip at Sewing. True, some people just come to kibbitz. Kibbitzing is a fine art form of relevant discussion, well mastered by the Sewing group.
2. Only women are invited.
No way. On any given Friday meeting, you might just find a man in attendence. "Real Men" do come to Sewing.
